In 2023 we've implemented the Re:Match project, piloting an individualized and needs-oriented relocation of protection seekers to receiving municipalities via a matching algorithm. Together with our partners, we were able to match 78 Ukrainian protection seekers with six German municipalities using our self-developed algorithm-based mechanism and relocate them from Poland to Germany.
